The biggest story last week was the announcement that French fashion house Chanel has appointed former Unilever executive Leena Nair as its new global chief executive. Chanel says Nair will join the group in January.
 
In other news, L’Oréal Paris USA recently commissioned five female artists to create NFT art inspired by the brand’s new Reds of Worth Colour Riche lipstick and its six shades of red. The NFTs were auctioned last week, with artists retaining 100% of primary sales.
